It is not sure whether AF7 could bring back the excitement with the presence of the 20 miscellaneous background contestants, after facing an abysymal cold & cheerless few seasons.
Of the 20 candidates, 1 is a recording artist, nas Adila, whilst 2, Aril & Abraham, are contestants of a reality TV programme. Abraham is one of the Top 4 in One In A Million 2 & Aril is a Tv host & Gangstarz contestants which is also the brother to the singer Izwan Pilus.
Other than Aril, there are 2 more candidate who have a family ties with the artist Isma & Lizda. Isma or her reL name, Ismaliza ismail is the sista to the singer Tomok, who is currently competing in the One In A Million, & wife to the composer & singer, Zul 2by2. Whereas, Lizda is the wife of the famous actor, Ezany.
I do think this is the Astro strategy in using the artist kinship as the AF7 attraction.
