Alhamdulillah, MOD progress to the quaterfinals of the Kejohanan Bolasepak Piala Keputeraan 2009 after defeating MIPR 2-1 last Friday which was hels at the JBS field, Berakas. Actually nya, andang masuk pulang sudah after MOD defeated MOFAT 11-0 last week. MOD fielded almost 90% reserve players. But mind you, i personally think that bisdia ani lagi better than the 1st 11... MIPR needed a win so badly with a 3 goals margins atleast, to progress to the quaterfinal. With the result, KHEU joined MOD from group A to the quaterfinal stage.
On the other hand, tonite will be the 2nd matchday for AM Gunners at the JBS field, eh padang Kebajikan wah... AMG will be up against the defending champions, QAF FC who thrashed Wijaya last week 7-1. so, David vs Golliath???? IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING KAN.. mentang2 lah aku udah convert to adidas hehehe. Im gona have my rest now... Big game later... wish us luck!!!

After weeks of preparation, our 1st game for the DST Group Brunei Premier League 2009/2010 was postponed to 7th June. Semangat jua sudah kan DEFENCE & ATTACK ni.. ARSENAL who will tackle Cardiff in the 4th round replay later today must then beat Burnley in order to face Sheffield United or Hull. It's confirm now that DPMM FC wont be competing in the 2009 season of Malaysian Super League, a BIG THANX to BAFA for not complying to the RoS rules. BAFA is no longer recognised as an association by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) preventing DPMM FC and other local clubs from competing in any FIFA sanctioned competition.
BAFA was disbanded by the registrar for failing to submit its annual general meeting report as requested by the society. I understand that they didnt submit the report not ONE! but for the past 20 YEARS!!!!!!!! Correct me if im wrong. But 20 years, durian pun pandai abis. Our football is going NO where (David Booth). I still remember him saying those words. And honestly, thats the one of many reasons why he left the national team, BAFA'S A JOKE.. nO OFFENCE. SAD but... TRUE.
I feel sorry for the DPMM FC players, for all the sacrifice & hard work that they have put in their pre-season training. Just hope that our current Fifa ranking of 181 wont be affected. NOT!!

Arsenal & Liverpool split the points at the Emirates Stadium battling out an entertaining 1 all draw in a game that saw the GUNNERS finished with only 10 MEN after Emmanuel Adebayor was sent off. Robin van Persie gave Arsenal the lead only for Robbie Keane to level matters for Liverpool.
Personally i don't agree with Howard Webb decision. It was a pure mistake of him. On the good side of it, Arsenal remain UNBEATEN by their fellow "BIG FOUR" members.

In another match last night, Vietnam ended Singapore’s reign as Asean champions after they scored a 1-0 victory over the Lions infront of a 50,000 spectators in their AFF Suzuki Cup semi-final, second leg on Sunday. Striker Nguyen Quang Hai snared the winner in the 75th minute to give Vietnam a 1-0 aggregate victory after the first leg in Hanoi on Wednesday finished 0-0. In the final, Vietnam face Thailand, who beat Indonesia 3-1 on aggregate. The first leg of the final is at Stadium Rajamangala on Wednesday with the return leg in Hanoi on Sunday.
Bukit Udal Football Club proved to be the kings of 11-a-side football when they emerged as champions of the Tutong football league by defeating PAMDA 4-0 in the final. The match was held yesterday afternoon at the Muda Hashim Primary School field, Tutong. More pics later... Lots of computation work to do.

So peps, are you saying that Arsenal got lucky?? I don't think Arsenal were lucky at all. I mean Chelski were at home & didn't even create two clear cut opportunities in 90+ minutes. I cant remember Almunia being tested many times. Chelski had one major problem this morning, that is trying to beat Arsenal at their own game. That really works & any team who has played Arsenal before & tried to play football loses 90% of the time haha..
About van Persie's goal, OFFSIDE?? Yes it was an offside, but like last year when Chelsea scored a clear offside goal, 'that's football... deal with it'. Arsenal looked strong earlier & all they need now is a run of 4-5 league victories to really restore the morale. Most probably Arsenal wont be lifting the league trophy this year, but at least they are giving it a go. This is a new era, with Kapitan FABULOUS in charge, i hope its gonna be a good one!!

Kickoff 4 kids will again held their football clinic at the SOAS college field this Sunday.
There have been 3 successful tryouts in Tutong, KB & bandar. The clinic is opened for children aged 6 years old above throughout the country. Their aim is to get as many children to play & enjoy football in the country at an early age, hence improving the standard of football in the country. Interest from the general public have been encouraging so far.
The programme had launch partneship with some of government & private school in the sultanate. Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah school became the first school in brunei to sign up for the football clinics, handled by former Brunei national players, Mohd Brian Iman Bothwell, Hj Rosanan Samak, Haji Rosaidi Hj Md Kamis and Zaini Tumih, to name a few.
The coaches have been admiring on how countries globally have introduced similar football academies to develop a much needed life-line for the youngs to express themselves in a safe, healthy environment, and also to promote healthy young minds and bodies through football regardless of their skill level. Encouraging on going training where emphasis is placed on the continued development of fundamental skills and careful consideration has been given to prioritize the most relevant techniques at this age.
Registration fee package is BND35 which includes structured training by the coaches over a period of time, supply of all football equipment, sponsored football shirt and shorts, insurance coverage whereby the safety of these kids are the 1st priority. Valuation of each child will be after 12 sessions. Upon completion, each kid will receive a certificate of completion, progress report, fitness report and areas where the individual needs to focus on.

Is this true?? Tapi yang nda pasti, is he quiting playing international futbol or simply just quiting DPMM FC. Wardun Md Yussof have been the no.1 goalie for both Brunei aswell as DPMM FC for years now, Wijaya FC jua ah & Papp FC perasan ku. Ist representing the country eversince his SOASC years. This makes us wonder why?? Is he playing for the wrong reasons?? im sure he have a passion for football, so do i hahaha... cant he manage his football & work?? anything to do with their recent failure to qualify for the AFF Suzuki Cup? tired of training?? antah ah..
I do understand that quitting is not for everyone. Well, it doesn't makes him a quitter!! Quitting is easy and makes you a quitter. Commitment is hard but it makes you commited.. yay!! eh eh..nothing is revealed yet ah..khabar angin je sempena musim ujan-ujan tia ganya...hehehe
