The schedule for the quarterfinals of the Piala Keputeraan Football Championship resumes today, as confirmed sometime last week following a draw at the Brunei-Muara District Office
Tonite at 8pm, the Ministry of Development will face Ministry of Education at Belapan field while Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports wilt play against Ministry of Defence at Berakas Sport Complex.
The other quarterfinal games on July 5 at 8pm will see the Ministry of Home Affairs squaring off with NBT (B) Sdn Bhd at Belapan field and JV Brunei Shell taking on the Ministry of Religious Affairs at Berakas Sport Complex.
The semifinals will be played on July 24 and the third place playoff on July 27 with the final on July 31. The charity football game which is the brainchild of HRH Prince Abdul Mateen managed to raise an impressive $6,081 (excluding donation boxes outside the stadium) for various charitable organisations.
All AM Gunners FC five goals came in the second half with Joe Berry scoring a hat-trick, HRH Prince Abdul Mateen and Ak Anaqi Sufi Pg Omar one goal a piece.
