Solar Eclipse

This combo picture shows the moon covering the sun as seen from Jakarta on January 26, 2009. A few lucky people in the Indian Ocean were to be treated to a rare event when an annular solar eclipse would transform the Sun into a dark disc with a blazing ring-shaped corona around its rim. I remember it was raining on that particular day here... hmmm. If u guys have any pics of the eclipse taken in Brunei, please do lemme know ah..

Keep Walking.....

Jus to check this out.....
The Organs of our body have their sensory touches at the bottom of our foot,if we massage these points we will find relief from aches & pains as we can see the heart is on the left foot.

Typically they are shown as points and arrows to show which organ it connects to. It is indeed correct since the nerves connected to these organs terminate here.. This is covered in great details in Acupressure studies or textbooks.
God created our body so well that he thought of even this. He made us walk so that we will always be pressing these pressure points and thus keeping these organs activated at all times.

So, keep walking....

Children make up more than half of Gaza's 1.5 million inhabitants, and as such have found themselves in the firing line since Israel began its offensive against Hamas. Using unprecedented force, the Israeli army has launched raid after raid against the tiny, overcrowded territory, with the inevitable consequence that children have figured heavily among the casualty numbers. According to UN figures, in 17 days, 284 children have been killed and 1,080 wounded — about a third of the total casualties — since the offensive began on December 27. Here we look at the impact of the conflict on Palestinian children.

About 250 foreigners left Gaza under a Red Cross escort after several attempts to get them out of the conflict-stricken territory were cancelled because of shelling.

I'l be posting more pictures of the conflict. Insyallah... Honestly, im a bit worried since my bro & 4 other Bruneian soldiers are there for the Peacekeeping mission in Lebanon. Lebanon have launch rockets to Israel last few days. I haven't spoke with him in days now. The last time we spoke he was stationed at the Lebanon-Israel border. Let us all pray not just for the safety of our brave Bruneian army boys, but also for the Palestinians who have suffered from the attacks of Israel & the US.. yeah the US aswell..

Images from the aftermath of the Manchester United star's accident.
Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo escaped without injury after his Ferrari sportscar hit a roadside barrier in a tunnel near Manchester airport

Also known as Cheese Rolling, this dangerous sporting event that takes place every May 22 in Gloucester, England on Cooper's Hill. The event is said to be at least hundreds of years old. A wheel of cheese weighing about eight pounds is rolled down a very steep hill, and dozens of contestants go scrambling after it so hard and fast that broken limbs and other injuries are common. Whoever nabs the cheese is the champion and they win 15 or so minutes of fame (and the cheese.)

This is a sport started on a dare... right? The U. S. Association of Rock Paper Scissors. That's right, U.S. Association... damn proud. The USARPS League is the official Rock Paper Scissors League of the United States. It is sponsored by Bud Light. Matti Leshem is the co-commissioner of the USA Rock Paper Scissors League In April 2006, the inaugural USA Rock Paper Scissors League Championship was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Following months of regional qualifying tournaments held across the US, 257 players were flown to Las Vegas for a single-elimination tournament at the House of Blues where the winner received $50,000. The tournament was shown on the A&E Network on June 12, 2006.

The game of underwater rugby is played in a swimming pool of approximately 4m depth. Two teams of 11 players aim to make a goal by getting the weighted ball in the opposing team's basket. Each basket is at the bottom of the pool. This is quite an exciting game as normal gravitational rules do not apply to any of the manoeuvres or tactics you might instinctively seek to employ.

The Finns have the great honour of holding the annual Wife Carrying World Championships. What you do is simply grab a hold of your significant other, and carry her (or him) to the finish line faster than the other competitors. Cool! The games are hosted in the small town of Sonkajärvi in upper Savo, in the eastern part of Finland. The rules say nothing at all about the weight of the wife, only that she can be yours as well as somebody else's. The Wife Carrying World Championships website explains the rules further and has an official entry form. The site also says that this year's World Champions were a couple from Estonia and that the Estonians actually swept the board, leaving no medals at all for the poor Finns. Oh dear.

Entering primary school is a milestone for many children. It marks the beginning of their formal education. For some children, this change can be scary, especially on their first day in a big school building surrounded by unfamiliar faces. But not for my IZZ.

In my opinion, the first day of school has the biggest impact on the way a person will eventually turn out in the future. I remember one boy, bud (not real name), whom on his first day urinated in his pants. He is still known to this day as "Mih". This begs to ask the question; if, on your first day, you look "cool" and people see you as cool, then will you be popular? Alternatively, if you start off your day by crying, vomiting, or peeing, will people avoid you, no matter how nice or generous you are to them? What could cause this madness you ask? This isn't just any first day of school; it's the first day of kindergarten.
In the beginning of 1984, I ventured into the small enclosed room of a new and alien world, which my mother called "school". On first arrival, I was scared to see children my age with their parents. I lived on a street where most of my neighbors were relatively older people. Now, standing with my mother just like the rest of the kids, I saw some parents leave. They left their children there to play. My mother looked at me and said, "I'm going to go now. I will be back before you have to leave. Don't worry; everyone is very nice here.", and gave me a peck on the cheek. I looked at her with glassy eyes and a confused glare, wondering, "Why are we all here at school?" She slowly walked away, turning back a few times to check if I started to mingle with the other kids. I stood still and looked around the room; none of the children were playing. They were only trying to keep their parents from leaving them.

Entering primary school is a big step for young children, and one that they will hopefully look back on fondly when they’re older. With the right support from parents and schools, they will be able to adapt effectively and build a strong foundation for the rest of their education.

Here are some pics that i took at today's 1st day of school. Enjoy hehehe...

The question is, is it a lack of knowledge, ignorant or intentional. I believe this act is deliberately done. It's very sad & a great shock to see those writings of "Allahu Akhbar' in one of a shoe inside sole. Isn't it really a sin when writing those at places where it should not be?? Correct me if i'm wrong. This is a humiliation, an insult to our religion.

Just wana share with hope so our fellow Muslims will continue to respond to these acts of insults. N yess.. This is pure local stuff gyus...
